Attention:

If you are going to paint over pre-finished paneling, you must prepare the surface properly. Click here to find out how.

Patina

  1. After preparing the surface well, cover the outside of mouldings to protect it from the glaze that will be applied to the wall.

  2. Mix one part of the Lumiere, A116-31 with two parts of Mascarade Glaze in a container.

The Illusio Mascarade Glaze can make colours transparent without affecting their consistency.

  3. Use a flat paintbrush to apply, in cross-over strokes (X application), yellow glaze on the paneled wall (natural wood colour).

  4. Gently remove the masking tape.
